    ::: About JX-Speccy :::

    JX-Speccy is a ZX-Spectrum java emulator that can be run as an applet in a java enabled browser. I wrote the first version in 1999 and after using it in some of my sites I decided to release it under GNU GPL license.

    The emulator is accurate enough:

  • very good Z80 emulation and timings
  • Spectrum 128K emulation
  • .tap, .sna, .z80 formats supported
  • automatic speed calibration
  • sound support if Java 1.2 is used

  • Feel free to download and use it on your site and help me improve it (comments and suggestions are welcome). I spent a lot of time developing it so, if you find it useful or use it on a commercial site (or if you make money with your site) please consider to make a small donation.

    If you use JX-Speccy on your home page, email me: I'll include your site in the links section.
